Deaf-Friendly Cities in the U.S.
from http://deaf411online.com/dfc.php
"Austin may be one of the best places for a young deaf person to
live in the U.S. It has a youthful energy in the city and has some
of the most creative accessibility programs for deaf people. The
city is small enough for hearing people to accommodate deaf
residents comfortably, but the deaf community is also large enough
that many different deaf activities are also available."
