I'm trying to post every event on the Austin Deaf Events public calendar. (See link above.) For simplicity and reduced work, I'm going to copy those entries for this newsletter summary. The format is a little different from before. Please let me know if you see any problems.
If you know of anyone wanting to announce a Deaf/Hard of Hearing event in central Texas, please send them to:
(By the way, if they could put their info in the same plain text style as the calendar entries -- What, When, Where, Description -- that would be incredibly helpful.) Thank you. --David

DeafNation just released their 2010 Expo schedule, and I don't see Austin on the list. Maybe you'll want to contact them to see what's up with that? http://www.deafnation.com/
3)
Austin Community College has released a new brochure describing their services for Deaf and hard of hearing students.

Am told that Legacy Mutual Mortgage is working with TSD on a program to reach out to the Deaf community in Texas by offering a $500 credit towards closing costs on a new home purchase or refinance, and they will send a child at the Texas School for the Deaf to summer camp with every loan closed.
