The presentation centers on using conceptually acurate ASL to represent number concepts. Participants will have an understanding ofthe origin and evolution of ASL numbers as well as on the fluidity principles for language register and cetegories of ASL. "Jeopardy!!" Game on ADA, specializing in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (ASL; CART/VI by request) Wed Apr 14 6:30pm – 8:30pm Travis County Services for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing – Conference room, 2201 Post Rd #100, Austin TX 78704

1. What does ADA really says about who provides an interpreter or other auxiliary aid/service?
2. Does a private doctor’s office have to employ at least 15 employees before providing an interpreter or other auxiliary aid/service?
3. Does a Social Security office have to follow ADA?
4. Are employers required to pay for interpreters or other auxiliary aid/service for their Deaf/hard of hearing employees?
5. Does ADA apply to a public college/university only, not a private one?

Come to this training for answers to these and other questions and to have fun learning through playing Jeopardy!! game. The training will empower you to learn how to self-advocate as a Deaf or Hard of Hearing individual.

Pizza and soft drinks will also be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hey Biker, The winter season is almost over! On April 16-18 2010 South Padre Island will have a Beach and Bikerfest Rally. The fans are welcome. Plenty Mexican foods and the seafoods and the sands on the beach.

They will have a biker tour group to New Progreso, Tamps, Mexico for $15 each person for the toll. It will takes us 45 minutes to 1 hour to Tamps and we will stay there for 2 hours. Do not forgot to bring your passport, If you want to visit Mexico.
