Anyone who wants to be candidate for the Deaf Unity Movement and sign up to see who would want to be the best and would tell them about the "events" for everyone who is interested in saving the Deaf Unity Movement for the future.
Everyone is welcome to come and hear us about the events. Free admission for the first meeting. We will be able to discuss and vote about our events, how to set our goal to raise money by selling baked goodies, key chains, car wash, etc. for the trip to Washington D.C. for our Deaf Unity Movements booths, and who is willing to participate for the cost of rental and transportation for charter bus to Washington D.C.
We will be having Vacation Bible School from August 15 to 19. Our VBS will be at Jesus Lutheran Church of the Deaf. There will be around 60 children ages 3 through those entering 6th grade. Most of them are deaf. There will be Bible lessons, Games, Crafts, Mission Projects, Activity Lessons, and Bible Storytelling/Drama. VBS will be from 8:00 to 12:00 every day and we will provide childcare from 12:30 to 5:30 pm every day.
Each year, our VBS is a madhouse, but a whole lot of fun! We need volunteers to help out. Come join us and be a part of our team!
If you have children, you are welcome to send them to VBS! We are sending out registration forms and information now and want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to join us.
Let Jennifer know if you can volunteer or if you want to send your children! Please email her at JesusDeafVBS@gmail.com.
