Visual Voice will be interpreting "The Orchid Flotilla" on Thursday, Sept. 11 at the Salvage Vanguard Theater. This unique and innovative original production for adults uses very little dialogue, with most of the story being told using physical theatre, shadow puppetry and manipulated objects.

Monte Nesbitt, AgriLife Extension state-wide fruit specialist will present on fruits that can be successfully grown in Central Texas: stone fruits (peaches and plums), figs, pomegranates, and blackberries; but will also cover olives and citrus. He will also discuss site selection, soils, fertilization, and pruning to sustainable production practices and dealing with particular insects and diseases.
