CROSSROADS - https://texasdeafed.org/
A new online resource website where Texas’ deaf and hard of hearing students, their families and the professionals who support them can go for assistance with Deaf education in Texas.
FYI: CANCELED - Texas Deaf Expo 2016, Houston, Sat. 3/12
HOW TO download Closed Caption / Subtitle text. If you are hard of hearing, Deaf, or prefer to read rather than watch a video, this is for you! There is a terrific service at ccSubs.com where you can submit the URL of a video, then watch the video with synchronized captions to the side, or click a Download button to get the text stream all at once. NOTE, this does require that the video have either automatic or manually pre-made captions.

"As the only deaf member of his sharp-tongued British family, sweet-natured Billy has spent much of his life feeling out of place. But when he meets a young woman on the brink of deafness, he finds out what it means to belong for the first time. This provocative and touching play is as much about the tyranny of language, as it is about the challenge of not being able to hear it. ZACH's production will be staged on our Kleberg Stage starring deaf, Austin actor Russell Harvard, who won a 2012 Theatre World Award for Outstanding Debut Performance, and garnered Drama League, Outer Critics Circle, and Lucille Lortell Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor."
