Sex: (almost) everybody does it and (almost) nobody talks about it—except at Bedpost Confessions, a live storytelling show. Stories told at BedPost Confessions explore themes of sexuality, gender identity, dating, marriage, masturbation, break-ups, health, and more. Whether the performers are funny, informative, fictional, thoughtful, embarrassing, raunchy, heart-warming, political, or completely personal, the audience receives their stories with love and returns the favor by sharing their own. In fact, the anonymous confessions submitted by the audience and read aloud by the producers are the real star of every show. We aim for each BedPost Confessions to either spark a fantasy or start a conversation. Maybe even both.

This intensive 6-hour workshop is intended to give interpreters the opportunity to examine sexuality issues, explore values/attitudes/beliefs about sexuality, identify situations where skills with sexuality interpreting would be useful, and apply what was learned to interpreting practice. Participants will be equipped with appropriate and effective tools to become more comfortable with interpreting sexuality content. This workshop does not only discuss sexuality issues, but also to discuss the importance of consent.

With inspiration from movies/TV such as Center Stage, Dance Academy and Save the Last Dance, Dance Dreams follows the drama and aspirations of students chasing their dreams to become professional ballet dancers. Full of humor and dancer angst, this show explores the challenges of being young and pursuing art in a competitive field. And it's all completely improvised.
