A court interpreter's edition. A review of language, procedures, and laws related to ASL interpreters in court in Texas.

Presenters: Carie Loya, Kristin Lund, Jan Castleberry.

Audience: Working court interpreters, soon to be court interpreters, interpreters who might like to be court interpreters, students of interpreting.

Format: Engaging session including lecture and interactive game in "Jeopardy" style. Presented in ASL, no spoken interpretation.

Are you interested in taking a defensive driving course to reduce the cost of your insurance or to dismiss a speeding ticket? Here's the place. TCSDHH will be sponsoring "Texas Friendly Defensive Driving Schools"to teach a class for Deaf and Hard of Hearing participants. Interpreters will be provided. Please request additonal accommodations and complete pre-registration and payment by 9/22/2017.

NOTE: Registration will not be refunded for no show later than 9:05am. The door will be locked at 9:05am - no exceptions!
