STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS (OC)
Sunday, January 10, 2016. 11:15am
Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar

The Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar is now showing films with open captions (OC) every week. If you missed it last time on Sunday, January 10th we're showing STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS with OC at 11:15am at our South Lamar location.

It's time to return to a galaxy far, far away. STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, perhaps the most anticipated sequel of all time, will bring us three decades forward from where we last left Luke, Leia and Han on Endor. The Rebel Alliance is now the New Republic, the hated Galactic Empire has morphed into a junta of true-believers called The First Order, and new heroes Finn, Rey and Poe Dameron will join forces with our old friends in the fight against the twisted evil of Kylo Ren and Supreme Leader Snoke.

So, prepare yourself. This Sunday, the Alamo Drafthouse will be filled with the sizzle of lightsaber combat, the kinetic grandeur of space dogfights, and the epic story of the Skywalker legacy. STAR WARS is back. . . .

Read more about the film and purchase tickets here. https://drafthouse.com/austin/show/star-wars-the-force-awakens

Have a great week; we hope to see you Sunday!

"As the only deaf member of his sharp-tongued British family, sweet-natured Billy has spent much of his life feeling out of place. But when he meets a young woman on the brink of deafness, he finds out what it means to belong for the first time. This provocative and touching play is as much about the tyranny of language, as it is about the challenge of not being able to hear it. ZACH's production will be staged on our Kleberg Stage starring deaf, Austin actor Russell Harvard, who won a 2012 Theatre World Award for Outstanding Debut Performance, and garnered Drama League, Outer Critics Circle, and Lucille Lortell Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor."

Call Zach Theater and ask for seats in the interpreted section. (There is a discount. Not sure how much)
